영문 초록

We have presented a case of conservative curettage of a capillary central hemangioma of the mandible in which a radical deforming operation on 15-year old boy was avoided. Before operation, we performed the external carotid arteriography using selective catheterization. Arteriography was of great assistance in preoperative evaluation of vascular supply. When conservative curettage was finished, only lingual plate of mandible remained. So, we used the metal plate to prevent the mandibular fracture. During 14-month follow-up check, no recurrence occurred.
