영문 초록

The rearrangement of individual teeth using the interdental osteotomy in conjunction with orthodontics was described by KÖle. This is a case report of the unitooth osteotomy, which was corrected the protrusion of the maxillary Rt. central incisor due to chronic advanced localized periodontitis. This 36-yr-old woman pt. who had esthetic disharmony due to maxillary Rt. central incisor protrusion. We treated it by individual tooth osteotomy and the results were as follows; 1. The unitooth osteotomy was performed under the local anesthesia at O.P.D. via single-stage procedure. 2. Although poor periodontal health had existed, tooth preservation could be possible by proper periodontal treatment and long-period fixation. 3. Involved tooth vitality was persisted and alveolar segment has been good healing. 4. During short-period, in adult who had normal dento-alveolar skeletal pattern, unitooth osteotomy has good esthetic effect that has not restriction of sociality. 5. There was no evidence of relapse.
