영문 초록

These were 2 cases of unilateral T.M.J. ankylosis not associated with micrognathia in adult, which were corrected by arthroplasty and autogenous dermal graft. Arthroplasty and autogenous dermal graft, as one of interpositional arthroplasty, can prevent the open bite tendency, reankylosis. On postoperative 7th day, mechanotherapy (mouth opening exercise, protrusive movement, lateral movement) was begun. Post operative results were good functionally.
