Korean beef cow has been a indigenous biological resource in Korea since B.C. 2000. It had been used as worker cow in the past, but it is bred as beef cow currently as the consumers income has increased. However it goes
weaker on the aspect of competitiveness due to WTO, Korea-US FTA, rapid increase of feed cost, and complicated production-logistics chains. For the improvement of the competitiveness in the market, producers should try to make the meet quality prominent, manage breed, and feed TMF to the animals to resolve the problems of nutrient and breeding. In order to see the effect of TMF feeding, we analyzed price differences between concentrated feeding farm and TMF feeding farm on the basis of grading result of dressed animal products in Hongsung district. In consequence we expect that TMF feeding system may present us following effects: technologies for farmers to produce feeds by themselves, quality improvement, reduction of livestock feeding cost, increase of farmers’ income, reduction of contamination, and supplying top-of-the-line beef product.
