성인 학습자 특성을 고려한 이러닝 콘텐츠 개발 방안 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 변화하는 웹 환경, 평생교육환경의 변화에 부응하는 학습자 중심의 이러닝 콘텐츠의 모습을 탐색하고, 이를 구현하기 위한 콘텐츠 개발 방안을 구체화하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 성인 학습자 8명을 대상으로 학습과정에서 발생한 인지부하 검사, 학습과정 모니터링, 면담을 진행함으로써 이러닝 콘텐츠 학습경험에 대한 분석을 진행하였으며, 국내외 이러닝 트렌드 분석 및 연구문헌, 사례 조사 등을 토대로 향후 발전 방향 및 구체적인 실행 전략을 제안하였다. 먼저 학습 과정에서의 인지부하 검사와 모니터링 결과 학습자들은 빠르게 원하는 정보를 찾고 효율적으로 학습하고자 하는 요구, 능동적인 학습활동에서 보다 집중하는 경향 등을 확인할 수 있었다. 이상의 내용을 토대로 본 연구에서 도출한 향후 이러닝 콘텐츠의 발전 방향은 크게 세 가지로 구분할 수 있다. 첫째, 의미 있는 학습 경험과 몰입을 유도하기 위하여 능동적인 교수-학습 전략을 도입하는 것, 둘째, 효율적으로 학습하고자 하는 성인 학습자들의 요구와 콘텐츠의 시의적절한 제공을 위하여, 빠르고 효율적으로 이러닝 콘텐츠를 개발·보완하고 탐색적으로 학습할 수 있도록 지원하는 것, 셋째, 성인 학습자들의 실제적인 역량 향상 및 성과 증진에 기여하기 위하여 현업과의 연계성을 높이고 현장 중심의 콘텐츠가 종합적으로 관리될 수 있도록 지원하는 것이다. 본 연구에서 제시한 이러닝 학습 과정에서의 성인 학습자의 학습 경험에 대한 분석 결과와 이에 따른 개선 방안은 성인 학습자 대상의 이러닝 콘텐츠 설계·개발·운영 시 참조할 수 있는 기준이 될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the strategies of e-Learning contents based on adult learner s learning experience to changing web environment and lifelong education environment. In this study, we analyzed e-Learning contents learning experience by conducting cognitive load test, monitoring of learning process, and interviewing in eight learner s adult learners, and suggested specific developing strategies for future e-learning development. Cognitive load test results and the monitoring result shows that learners want to quickly find the information they want, learn to efficiently learn, and tend to focus more on active learning activities. Based on the above, the development strategies of the e-Learning contents derived from this study are as is; first, to induce meaningful learning experiences and engagement, and second, to support the adult learners who want to learn efficiently and timely contents, Third, to contribute to the actual capacity and performance enhancement, it is necessary to improve the linkage with the workplace. The results of the analysis of the learning experiences of the adult learners in the e-Learning process presented in this study and the improvement stragegies will be the reference that can be referenced when designing, developing and operating e-Learning contents for adult learners.
