국문 초록

인성 및 창의성 개발 효과의 측면에서 대학 환경교육의 관점을 알아보고자 본 연구는 2016년 8월 서울 소재 S 대학교의 교양 수업 수강생을 대상으로 대학생의 환경 의식 및 환경 관심도에 관하여 알아보기 위한 선행 설문조사를 진행하였으며, 이후 9월부터 2개월 동안 SSI를 이용한 인과관계지도 그리기 활동 및 창의적 사고 (Design Thinking)를 통한 디자인 그리프를 제안하는 수업을 시행하였다. 인터뷰와 2차 설문조사를 통해 창의인성교육을 위한 학습자 중심의 환경교육의 방향을 제안 하기 위한 대학생의 환경교육 교수 방향을 설정하였다. 학습자인 대학생들은 환경교 육에 대한 가치를 높게 평가하였으며, 창의인성교육을 지향한 환경교육 학습과정에 의해 환경의식 및 관심도 지표가 증대되었다. 인터뷰를 통하여 환경문제에 대해 서로 토의를 통한 의사 결정, 문제 해결 등 창의적 활동을 선호하였으며, 실천적 의지를 표명하는 등 환경의식과 관심이 증대되는 결과가 도출되었다. 정량적 정성적 조사를 통한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 학습자의 피드백에 의해서 대학생들의 인성 및 창의성 개발을 위한 대학생의 환경교육은 과정지향적이며 해결방안을 제안할 수 있는 교수-학습 방법이 필요하고, 토의 및 협동과정이 이루어지는 실천중심적 방향을 지향해야 한다. 대학교의 환경교육과 사회환경교육과의 긴밀한 연계를 제안하며 환경 문제에 대한 융합교육을 통한 인성, 올바른 가치관, 창의성 등 창의인성교육 분야에 서의 지향하는 교육목표와 부합하는 세부 역량을 증대하는 환경교육 방향을 학습자 중심의 관점에서 설정하는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The researcher conducted a class to through causal relationship map painting activity using SSI and creative thinking, and also implemented a teaching-learning plan to impart environmental education as creative personality education via an secondary survey. The researcher also suggested a direction of environmental education for college students as creative environmental education. This study highly evaluated college students’ environmental education, environmental consciousness, and interest index. The interviews confirmed that they made decisions by themselves upon discussion of environmental problems, and preferred creative activities as practical solution suggestions etc. The interviews also confirmed that their environmental consciousness and interest increased. Based on the results of a quantitative and qualitative investigation, this study proposed contents for college students’ environmental education in order to develop their personality and creativity, and determined that such education should be process-oriented, teaching-learing method to suggest a solution is necessary, that discussions and cooperative processes should be engaged in, and that education should be practice-driven. As a direction for the evolution of environmental education to creative personality education in the future, the study proposes that aspects such as the need for a multidisciplinary approach as the practical study, recommendations for different types of environmental curriculum for the realization of a student-oriented curriculum realization, and the importance of association and networking with social environmental education should be emphasized. The study also suggests developing various teaching-learning methods for environmental education in order to raise environmental consciousness and interest and directing education to consider the role as the lifelong education through continuous research based on program development in the future.
