유치원 교원평가의 평가준거에 관한 분석 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 유치원 교원평가의 평가준거에 대한 분석이 이루어졌는데 먼저 현재 국·공립 유치원 교사들을 대상으로 이루어지고 있는 유치원 교원능력개발평가의 평가준거를 분석하고 그 다음 유아교육 학술지에 게재된 논문들의 유치원 교원평가의 평가준거를 분석하였다. 유치원 교원능력개발평가에서는 주로 유치원 교사들의 학습지도 능력에 초점을 맞추어 평가가 이루어지고 있으며, 학술지 논문의 유치원 교원평가의 평가준거를 분석한 결과, 대부분의 연구들에서 평가준거와 관련한 이론적 틀이나 용어의 정의가 부재하였다. 이러한 분석결과에 기초하여 논의점들을 제시해 보면 첫째, 유치원 교원평가의 평가준거에 대한 연구에서는 평가준거에 대한 이론적 틀과 용어의 정의가 필요하고 둘째, 유치원 교원평가의 평가영역이 유치원 현장에서 실제로 이루어지고 있는 교사의 업무를 제대로 반영하고 있는 지에 대한 검토가 요구되며, 셋째, 유치원 교원평가의 평가영역에 교사의 직무수행능력 뿐만 아니라 교사의 자질과 인성이 포함되어야 한다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to analyze criteria of kindergarten teacher evaluation, ‘teacher evaluation for professional development’ and studies of kindergarten teacher evaluation in academic journals of earlychildhood education. In this study, the criteria of teacher evaluation is defined as category and standard of evaluation. The study’s suggestions are as follows. 1) The operatioal definition and theoretical framework of criteria of teacher evaluation is needed in further study. 2) The category of evaluation is discussed to represent real task of kidergarten teacher, especially task of caring children. 3) In the category of evaluation for kindergarten teacher, not only task competencies of teacher but also teacher personal qualities is included.
