In the philosophic world of the ending of the age of the Chwun-Choo(722-484 B.C), whether Heaven is a ruler of universe which has personality and will was the nucleus of disputation.
Those who are supporting the theory of Lao Tzu and Chang Tzu denied that Heaven is a ruler getting posonality, and put forward new thought that heven has a way and nature is acting without itself doing anything, and tried to explain it in accordance with an aspect of the world of nature itself, while those who succeed to the thought about Heaven expressed in Shin Ching and Shu Ching (Chinese Classics for poetry and history) insist that Heavn be aruler of universe getting personality.
Lao Tzu denied the belief of people in Yin (the latter half of the Shang dynasty) and regarded Heaven as nature, and this thought was developed and profounded in the age of Chang Tzu.
Coming to the age of Chang Tzu, it was thinking of immanence concept that thought about Heaven became changed remarkably comparing with what it was.
In the view of the thought of Chang Tzu, heaven and nature do not act directly to the human beings, but are learned by experience through. the inner world of human beings itself.
