영문 초록

Modern poetry, The Chindalae(진달래 꽃), is a symbol which everybody can come in contact with irrespective of a reader s individual situation or notion and a work which has an image giving the same feeling to everybody and the beauty of implication of various explanation when we consider it in connection with words- the external image of poetry is a symbol, and the internal image is a mental picture. Like this, The Chindalae(진달래 꽃) which has a wide range of the same feelings is a performance which is drawn to the life and which the poignant breath and pulse, thoughts, feelings, and ideals of our nation are thoroughly infiltrated with. In some points that The Chindale(진달래 꽃) has a unique image and a stream like the folk song and may be a creative production linked with a thread of connection of our Korean literature, I am going to compare The Chindalae(진달래 꽃) to an old poetry, Whangjoga(黃鳥歌), with the subject of parting, and then to Heonwhaga(獻花歌), and Cheonkwanyowonsa(天官女怨詞), of Sila dynasty(羅代) and Seokyungbyolgok(西京別曲) and Gasiri(가시리) of Koryo (麗代) and Samiingok(思美人曲) of the Yi dynasty(鮮代) and the folk song handed down by the word of mouth and Arirang(아리랑) of the modem times. These works are well known to everybody as those of period parting and subject, and so in this comparative analysis I dlike to seek for a traditional connection which the modern poem, The Chindalae(진달래 꽃), keeps.
