아동의 ‘집안일’ 수행의 교육적 의의를 통해 본 실과 교과에서의 ‘가족의 일’ 교육의 방향에 관한 개념적 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 실과 교과에서 다루는 가족의 일 에 대한 개념적 재정립을 통해 그 교육적 의의와 방향에 대해 모색한 연구이다. 가족의 일은 흔히 집안일이나 가사노동으로 표현되면서 그 가치가 평가절하 되어 온 경향이 있다. 본 연구에서는 구체적 일감을 포함한 총괄적 의미에서 집안일의 본질과 의의, 가치를 재조명함으로써 집안일의 수행 과정에는 아동교육으로서의 교육적 의의와 효과가 내재되어 있다는 것을 강조하였다. 또한, 본 연구에서는 아동의 집안일 수행이 갖는 교육적 의의를 재개념화 함으로써 실제로 실과 교과에서 전개되는 ‘가족의 일’에 대한 교육을 어떻게 전개할 것인가에 대한 방향을 제시하였다. 결론적으로 아동의 집안일 수행에 대한 교육은 집안일의 본질을 재조명하고, 집안일 수행이 제공하는 아동의 전인교육적 측면에 주목해야 하며, 아동의 진로교육으로서의 역할, 양성평등교육을 구현하는 주제로서 기능하여야 함을 주장하였다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study are to investigate (a) the nature of the division of labors in the family, (b) the educational meaning of chores performed by child, and (c) to reconstruct the scope of division of labors in the family part in the Practical Art Education. The strengths of study are its efforts of reconceptualization of chores performed by child and educational approach of the division of labors in the family which used to be analyzed with the Economics or Women s Study s perspectives. The author of this study suggested that the Practical Art Education curriculum should reflect the nature of the division of labor in the family and include its relations with communication and cohesion in a family, socialization of the family culture, and in turn, overall quality of life. Thus, the housing chores performed by child should be accounted in terms of optimal development and wholesome education in the Practical Art Education. In conclusion, the scope of vocational education and the gender equity were discussed with the division of labors in the family to provide the future direction of the Practical Arts Education.
