This research is the study for improvement of technology education lecture quality. DMAIC method was used for the project.
In define process, the project object and Big Y were defined. They are an improvement of lecture satisfaction and grade of lecture evaluation, respectively. Also, VOS(Voice of Student) was investigated.
In measure process, the present sigma level of technology education lecture was found out by using grade distribution of all the lecture that were opened at Cheongju National University of Education in 2nd semester of 2005. The value is 2.87 sigma.
In analysis process, CTQ(Critic To Quality) and vital few Xs were find out. CTQ was a difficulty of lecture and vital few Xs were difficulty of electric part and that of creating moving object part.
In improve process, DOE(Design of Experiment) was conducted to find out the effect of vital few Xs. The result shows that the difficult of electric part is significant factor, but creating moving object part is not a significant factor. After improvement measures, the lecture satisfaction grade of experiment group is significantly increase. The improved sigma level was found out by using grade distribution of all the lecture that was opened at Cheongju National
University of Education in 1st semester of 2006. The value is 3.4.
