아동·청소년을 대상으로 한 위인의 최근 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 한국 내 출판 위인전집에 선정된 위인들의 최근 동향을 분석하여 아동 청소년의 진로탐색을 위한 기초 자료로 제공하는 것이다. 본 연구의 분석 대상은 3개 국내 온라인 서점에서 2014년부터 2016년 발간된 50권 이상의 아동위인전집 중 판매량 상위그룹에서 중복 서적을 제외한 최종 11개사의 852권을 검토하였다. 위인으로 언급된 853명 중 중복 인물을 제외한 최종 233명의 위인을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 등장 위인의 빈도는 11회 6명, 10회∼5회 68명, 4회∼3회 60명, 1회 99명이고, 최다 빈도 등장인물들은 교과서인물들과 유사하게 나타났다. 남성은 197명, 여성 36명이 등장하였다. 둘째, 출생 시대별은 근대 135명, 현대 66명, 중세 26명, 고대 6명으로 근대가 가장 많이 등장하였다. 출신 국가는 53개국으로 유럽 24개국 80명, 아시아 20개국 94명, 아메리카 6개국 56명, 아프리카 2개국 2명, 오세아니아 1개국 1명 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 직업유형은 한국고용직업분류 KECO ’09와 Holland RIASEC 유형 분석으로 탐색했으며, 사회 서비스직 138명과 기업형 83명으로 가장 많이 나타났다. 연구 결과 아동·청소년의 위인전에 직업·여성·시대별·국가별 다양한 인물의 발굴 및 재조명이 필요함을 제언하는 바이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the latest trend of great men selected in the biographies of great men published in South Korea and to provide it as basic data for the career exploration of children and adolescents. The final subjects of an analysis in this study were 852 volumes published by 11 publishers, out of the collected biographies of great men for children selling in three domestic online bookstores from published between 2014 and 2016 with volumes more than 50, excluding overlapping books in the top group by sales volume. The results of the final analysis of 233 great men, excluding the overlapping figures out of 853 persons mentioned as great men are as follows: First, six men appeared 11 times; 68 men, 10 to five times; 60 men, four times to two times:and 99 men, one time. Figures that appeared with the most frequency were similar to those that appeared in textbooks. 197 persons were men while 36 persons were women. Second, by the period of their birth, 135 persons lived in the modern times; 66, in the present day; 26, in the middle age; and six, in the ancient times. There were 53 countries from which the great men were from. 80 persons were from 24 countries in Europe; 94, 20 countries in Asia; 56, six countries of the Americas; two, two countries in Africa; and one, one country in Oceania. Third, the types of their occupations were explored through the Korean Employment Classification of Occupations (KECO 2009) and analysis of the types with the Holland RIASEC, and as a result, 138 men had occupations in social services and 83 men were entrepreneurs. As a result of the research, it is suggested that it would be necessary to discover more diverse occupational groups, and to discover and shed new light on female figures in the age of gender equality in the biographies of great men for children and adolescents.
