교사 배경 변인에 따른 유아교사의 행복감

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 교사 배경 변인에 따른 유아교사의 행복감을 구체적으로 살펴보는 것이다. 본 연구는 예비조사를 실시한 후, 설문지의 내용타당도를 검증받은 다음 최종 설문지를 완성하였다. 이후 광주광역시와 전라도에 근무하는 유아교사 284 명을 대상으로 1개월 동안 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 빈도분석과 기술통계분석을 이용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 유아교사의 행복감이 보통보다 높은 수준인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 행복감은 교사의 학력과 근무기관 유형 에 따라 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 따라서 본 연구는 유아교사의 행복감을 증진시킬수 있는 방안으로 근무기관 유형에 따른 프로그램의 제공을 제시하고 있다. 특히교사생활에서 부딪히는 다양한 문제를 해결하는 과정을 통해 교사의 자기계발이 장 기적이고 지속적으로 이루어져야 함을 강조한다. 결국 본 연구는 유아교사의 자아 존중감을 높임으로써 궁극적으로 행복감 증진에 기여할 수 있는 프로그램이 개발되어야 함을 주장한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to concretely investigate early childhood teachers‘ euphoria according to the teacher’s background variables. After pilot survey was conducted and the content validity of a questionnaire was verified, this study completed a final questionnaire. The subjects of this study were 284 early childhood teachers in Gwangju metropolitan city and Jeolla province. This study conducted survey research during one month, and the survey data were analyzed using frequency analysis and descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, the level of early childhood teachers‘ euphoria was more than the average. Second, the teachers‘ euphoria was meaningfully different according to their academic abilities and the types of their institutions. Therefore, this study suggests that the programs according to the types of the teachers’ institutions as the method to improve early childhood teachers‘ euphoria should be provided. In particular, this study emphasizes that teacher’s self-improvement should be fulfilled consistently for a long time through the process to solve diverse problems against teacher’s life. Finally, this study insists that the programs to ultimately improve early childhood teachers’ euphoria by increasing the teacher’s self-esteem should be developed.
