초등고학년 창의성 증진 프로그램(DHA-II)이 초등학생의 창의성 향상에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 창의성 향상을 목적으로 이경화 외(2015)에 의해 개발된 2015’ 창의성 증진 프로그램(Developing Human CreAtivity: DHA) 중에서 초등 고학년용인 DHA-Ⅱ가 학생들의 창의성을 향상시키는데 효과가 있는지를 확인하고자 하였다. DHA-Ⅱ는 초등 고학년 학생들이 창의적인 아이디어를 발현하고 창의적 산출물을 생산하는데 목적을 두고 창의활동을 할 수 있도록 개발되었다. 실험을 통한 효과검증을 위하여 서울시에 위치한 한 초등학교의 3개 반을 무선 선정하여 실험집단, 비교집단, 통제집단으로 하여 사전, 사후검사로 통합창의성검사(이경화, 2014)를 실시하였으며, 실험과정은 12차시 진행하였다. 연구결과, DHA-Ⅱ는 초등학생의 통합창의성 중 창의적 능력을 향상시키는데 매우 효과적이었음이 확인되었다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해 전 국민의 창의성 함양을 목적으로 개발된 DHA 중 초등고학년 학생들의 창의성을 계발하는 데 목적을 둔 DHA-Ⅱ가 초등학교 고학년 학생들의 창의적 능력을 향상시킬 수 있으므로 전국의 초등학교에서 창의성 지도, 창의적 체험활동, 방과 후 활동 등에 확산하여 적용할 수 있는 효과적인 프로그램으로 제안하고, 더 나아가록 교사연수를 통해 확산적용 방안을 마련할 필요가 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This research was conducted in order to find out the effect to the creativity of elementary school students of the 2015 'DHA(Developing Human creAtivity) program' developed by Lee et al. (2015) with the aim of enhancing creativity. 'DHA-Ⅱ' was developed to be a creative activity that aims to express creative ideas and produce output for elementary school upper-grade students. The participants of this research were 121 students(50 experimental group, 47 comparative group, 24 control group) from elementary school to high school. Integrated Creativity Test(Lee, 2014) were used to measure the student's creativity. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, MANOVA by using SPSS 22.0 program. The results of this research are as follows; DHA-Ⅱwas found to have been a very effective in enhancing the creative abilities of integrating creativity of elementary school upper-grade students. In this result, the DHA-Ⅱ aimed at developing the creativity of all of the upper-grades elementary school students suggests that there is a need to develop a plan that can be applied by spreading it nationally.
