논증 교육의 교수-학습 방안 연구 - 아리스토텔레스의 『수사학』을 중심으로

국문 초록

이 연구는 사회적인 현안이나 시사적인 문제 등과 같은 공적 담론의 성격을 지닌 화제를 대상으로 논증 교육을 실시할 경우 그에 적합한 교수-학습전략을 고전 수사학의 논의를 바탕으로 체계화 및 구체화하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 아리스토텔레스에 따르면 수사학은 설득적 담화에 대해 연구하는 학문이다. 특히 ‘토포스’를 강조했는데 이는 보편적인 추론의 전제 혹은 판단의 기준을 의미하였다. 이러한 논의를 바탕으로 사회적 현안 등을 화제로 한 논증 교육의 교수-학습 방안을 아리스토텔레스가 제안한 토포스에 근거하여 화제에 대해 해석하기, 사안에 대해 쟁점화하기, 주장에 대해 합리화하기의 세 가지 절차로 구분하고 각각에 대한 교수자의 구체적인 질의 내용을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This thesis investigates the educational methods of argumentation and suggests the concrete strategies of teaching and learning by examine the Aristotle’s Rhetoric. According to Aristotle, Rhetoric is the study on the discussion and the speech to persuade. C. Perelman called these processes of persuasion argumentation. Aristotle enumerates the topos of persuasive speech according to the genre of speech, and uses three universal judgments. They obviously lead to agreement and derive general conclusions of a people. So this study suggests two process in a argumentation; making issue and rationalization, and sets the previous phase: interpretation of a topic by considering the educational characteristics . To make the issue, teacher has to suggest a some aspects of judgment, so this study examines them(Wealth & honor, greater profit and national systems). To rationalize their claims, teacher lets a leaner to confirm the common sense of the issue, find the undeniable evidences and establish the universality of the claims.
