직업계 고등학교 졸업자의 고교 전공 선택 유형과 고교 생활, 취업 간 관계 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 직업계 고교 졸업자의 고교 전공 선택을 위한 의사결정에서 나타나는 특성 유형과 고교 생활, 졸업 후 취업 간 관계를 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국고용정보원의 「2013년 고졸자 취업진로조사」자료를 활용하여 분석한 결과, 직업계 고교 전공 선택 과정에서 내재적 요인에 의한 의사결정을 한 고졸자의 경우 재학생활에서 긍정적이고, 진로 및 취업지원 참여에 만족할수록 괜찮은 일자리로 취업한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 직업계 고교 전공 선택이외재적 요인에 의해 의사결정이 이루어진 고졸자의 경우 학교성적 및 학교만족도와 같은 재학생활 특성이 취업 성과에 부정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 이러한 결과는 진로 및 취업지원 참여 만족도를 매개로 하여 취업 성과가 긍정적으로 변화되었다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to analyze on the relationship among major selection type, highschool life and employment of graduates from the vocational highschool with utilizing the data of 2013 HSGOMS(2013High School Graduates Occupational Mobility Survey) produced by KEIS(Korea Employment Information Service). According to the results, the vocational highschool graduates who decided their major by intrinsic factors showed the positive relationship between the subjective conception to the school life including school achievement as well as attitude to career support programs and their employment. On the contrast, the vocational highschool graduates who decided their major by extrinsic factors showed the negative relationship between the subjective conception to the school life including school achievement as well as attitude to career support programs and their employment. This relationship could be changed positively by mediating when they were satisfied with attending career support programs.
