국문 초록

여수지역에는 옛날부터 통신관련 역사유적과 유물이 봉수대, 솟대, 등대, 거문도 최초 해저케이블 설치 등으로 통신의 역사적 가치가 존재했었다. 옛 고문서에 나타나 있는 이지역의 통신 역사성을 확인하여 통신에 의한 여수지역의 발달을 이해하고 통신역사성의 자원을 확인할 필요가 있다.
