장애 형제자매가 있는 청소년의 스트레스가 문제행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 부모와의 의사소통의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 서울과 대전 지역에 있는 126명의 장애인의 형제자매를 대상으로, 비장애 형제자매들이 어떤 스트레스를 느끼고 있는지, 문제행동 수준은 어느 정도인지 조사하고, 스트레스와 문제행동의 관계에서 부모와의 의사소통의 매개효과를 확인해 보고자 하였다. 비장애 형제자매의 일반적 특성에 따라 문제행동에 차이가 있는지 검증하기 위해 t-test와 분산분석을 실시하였고, 매개효과를 알아보기 위해 상관분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 비장애 형제자매의 스트레스는 문제행동에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 한편 부모와의 의사소통을 매개로하여 문제행동에 간접적으로도 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 부분 매개 효과가 있음이 밝혀졌다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 부모와의 개방적인 의사소통을 할 수 있도록 도와주는 프로그램과 교육의 제공 및 비장애 형제자매에 대한 상담프로그램의 도입 등을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined influences of stress on problem behavior of adolescent siblings of person with disabilities and explored the mediating effects of open-functional communication between stress and problem behavior. The subjects are 126 brothers and sisters of person with disability who live in Seoul and Daejeon. The statistical methods used for the data was descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, correlation analysis, aroian test and multiple regression. The results showed that open-functional communication have a partial mediating effect on relationship between stress and adolescent problem behaviors. Stress did have an indirect effect on problem behavior of adolescent siblings, mediated by parent-adolescent communication. Disability is not only personal issue but also their family’s issue. Based upon research findings, this study suggests that family counselling program and non-disabled sibling’s stress reduce program should be spread.
