국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 학교차원의 사회적 통합 프로그램이 장애중학생의 학교생활 적응 및 비장애중학생과 일반교사의 통합교육 인식에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 것이었다. 연구설계는 단일집단 사전-사후 설계를 적용하였으며, 장애중학생 19명, 비장애중학생 626명, 일반교사 17명을 대상으로 수집한 자료를 두 종속표본 t 검정을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다: (1) 학교차원의 사회적 통합 프로그램이 장애중학생의 학교생활 적응에 긍정적인 영향을 미치었다; (2) 학교차원의 사회적 통합 프로그램이 비장애중학생의 통합교육 인식에 긍정적인 영향을 미치었다; (3) 학교차원의 사회적 통합 프로그램이 중학교 일반교사의 통합교육 인식에 긍정적인 영향을 미치었다. 이러한 연구결과에 근거하여 효과적인 학교차원의 사회적 통합 프로그램의 구성요소와 연구의 제한점에 대해 논의하였으며, 후속연구를 위해 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a school wide social inclusion program on the school adjustment of students with disabilities and the perception of nondisabled middle school. students and general education teachers. The research design was a pre and post test single group design. The subjects were 19 students with disabilities, 626 nondisabled students, and 17 general education teachers in an integrated middle school. Two dependent sample t-tests were applied for analyzing the data. The results of the study were as follows: (1) A school wide social inclusion program had positive impact on the school adjustment of students with disabilities; (2) A school wide social inclusion program had positive impact on the perception of nondisabled students on inclusive education; and (3) A school wide social inclusion program had positive impact on the perception of general education teachers on inclusive education. Limitations of the study and implications for future research were discussed.
