황반을 침범하지 않은 망막분지정맥폐쇄에 동반된 황반부종 치료 2예

국문 초록

목적: 황반을 침범하지 않은 망막분지정맥폐쇄에 동반된 황반부종 치료 증례를 보고하고자 한다. 증례요약: (증례 1) 64세 여성이 우안 상이측의 황반을 침범하지 않은 망막분지정맥폐쇄에 따른 황반부종을 보였다. 유리체강내 베바시주맙 주입술과 정맥폐쇄 부위에 레이저 광응고술을 시행하였고, 황반부종 소실과 함께 경성삼출물의 축적을 보였다. 경성삼출물이 흡수되며 교정시력은 0.2에서 0.5로 향상되었다. (증례 2) 53세 남성이 좌안 상이측 혈관궁 바깥쪽의 망막분지정맥폐쇄에 따른 황반부종을 보였다. 유리체강내 베바시주맙 주입술을 2회 시행하였고, 정맥폐쇄 부위에 레이저 광응고술을 시행하였다. 황반부종 소실과 함께 경성삼출물의 축적을 보였으나, 경성삼출물이 흡수되며 교정시력은 0.1에서 0.4로 호전되었다. 두 증례 모두 황반부종의 재발을보이지 않았다. 결론: 황반을 침범하지 않은 망막분지정맥폐쇄에 동반된 황반부종을 베바시주맙 및 레이저 광응고술 복합 요법으로 치료한 증례를 보고한다

영문 초록

Purpose: To report two cases of patients treated for macular edema associated with extramacular branch retinal vein occlusion(BRVO). Case summary: (Case 1) A 64-year-old female presented with macular edema (ME) associated with superotemporal extramacular BRVO. The ME was resolved but hard exudate (HE) deposited after combined therapy of intravitreal bevacizumab injection and laser photocoagulation of the BRVO area. Best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) improved from 0.2 to 0.5 following absorption of HE. (Case 2) A 53-year-old male presented with ME associated with extramacular BRVO outside the superior vascular arcade. ME was treated with 2 monthly injections of bevacizumab and laser photocoagulation in the BRVO area. Although HE deposited after resolution of ME, it was absorbed and BCVA improved from 0.1 to 0.4. The ME did not recur in either patient. Conclusions: We report 2 cases managed with combined therapy of intravitreal bevacizumab injection and laser photocoagulation for ME associated with extramacular BRVO.
