영문 초록

There are two major types of Internet search tools that help people in locating Internet resources. It is necessary for us to search these information more effectively. The first type arranges Internet resources in some sort of classifictory schemes. They are called net directories. The main function of net directories is for browsing, collecting, arranging and annotating online resources require a great deal of human efforts. As the site of Internet resources is felling bigger day by day, it is almost impossible for us to collect and classify all information on the net. The second type of Internet search tools is called keyword search engine. The searching, instead of browsing, is the main feature of this engine. We are going to introduce some of the major search engines, comparing their features and provide effective methods far searching travel-related information on the net. In order to achieve this purpose, this paper adopts fellowing methods. In order to compare the features of search engines, this study on the effective travel information search conducted previews of literatures. Especially online materials were used for this purpose. Directory browsing, keyword search for travel information were conducted. Study results show that Altavista is the best amounts keyword search engine and HotBot is the best amounts phrase search engine.
