This study was conducted to find the underlying factors of festival images(Kyongju World Culture EXPO 2000). Through various types of literature reviews, 23 festival images attributes were distilled As a result of factor, multiple regression, t-test, one-way ANOVA analysis, major findings and marketing implications could be summarized as follows: First, 3 factors such as amusing factor, cultural and historical factor, information factor were extracted. Second, they were revealed to have very strong relationship with the overall satisfaction of festival visitors within the significance level of 0.01. Among the factors, the most important factor was amusing factor for the overall satisfaction. Third, demographic characteristics are partially identified compared to 3 factors distilled within 0.05 significant level. Lastly, strategic tourism marketing analysis and policies should be reinforced for enhancing festival images.
