국문 초록

진주지역의 중생대 백악기 지층에서 거미화석이 새롭게 발견되었다. 대부분의 거미화석이 호박 속에서 발견되는 것과는 대조적으로 흑색 셰일층에서 발견되었다. 이 화석은 우리나라에서 두 번째로 발견된 거미화석이며 다리의 구조 및 두흉부와 복부의 형태까지 뚜렷이 잘 나타나 있다. 형태적 특징에 의해 깡충거미로 추정되지만 추가적인 연구가 필요하다.

영문 초록

New fossil spider have been discovered from the Lower Cretaceous strata in the Jinju area, Korea. Contrast to fossil spiders which are mostly founded in amber, the fossil was founded in the black shale. It is the second time which fossil spider is found in Korea. Structure of legs, cephalothorax, abdomen appeared very clear. It is presumed as the jumping spider according to the shape of the body. However it needs an additional research.
