관광전세버스 등급제도에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 관광전세버스 여행객의 편의 및 서비스향상 차원에서 외국의 관광전세버스 등급 제도를 분석하여 시사점을 찾고자 하였다. 이를 위해 관련법률 분석, 외국사례 그리고 국내 관광전세버스 관계자와의 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 사례 연구결과 첫째, 관광전세버스의 등급은 다섯 등급으로 구분되어 있었다. 둘째, 등급 평가에 대한 기준은 버스좌석의 안락함과 관광전세버스 내 시설 및 서비스 제공의 평가였다. 셋째, 관광전세버스에서 제공하는 다양한 서비스를 버스 창에 기호화하여 표시하고 있었다. 넷째, 관광전세버스 운전자의 자격을 쉽게 인지할 수 있는 운전자교육 마크가 부착되어 있었다. 그리고 관계자와의 면담결과 국내 관광전세버스의 등급제도 도입에 대해서는 부정적이지는 않았다. 제언으로는 첫째, 관광전세 운전자에 대한 서비스와 안전에 대한 전문적인 교육이 필요하고 둘째, 관광전세버스 이용객을 대상으로 한 의식전환 계몽활동 셋째, 관광전세버스의 서비스 강화 및 관광교통수단으로서의 활성화를 위해 관광관련법에 포함시킬 필요성 넷째, 관광 전세버스에 대해서도 일반택시운송사업의 평가와 같은 제도의 검토가 필요하리라 본다.

영문 초록

This study explored the possibility of adopting a rating system for charter bus currently in operation in western countries to improve service quality and convenience for customer. To achieve the objective of this study, interview with industry professions, review of related lows and regulations and research on related cases in western countries were all carried out. Following results were found. First, a rating system could be divided into five different level. Second, criteria for the rating evaluation lied in comport of seat, equipments inside the bus and service offered. Third, various service offered to the customers were all listed up on a sticker which was put up on the window. Fourth, Qualification mark for the driver was easily seen. Industry professions interviewed mentioned that such a system could certainly improve what had been regarded as problems in this area and were not against adopting such system. Suggestions were given at the last part of this paper in the area of professional training for drivers, changes in customers’ perception, improvement of service quality offered by charter bus companies and review of related low for a possible revision and addition.
