국문 초록

본 연구는 만 3세 유아의 유치원 적응과 놀이성 및 기본생활습관과의 관계를 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 G시에 소재한 유치원 5개 기관에 재원 중인 만 3세 유아 132명을 대상으로 담임교사에 의해 유치원 적응, 놀이성, 기본생활습관 검사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 18.0 프로그램을 통해 상관분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과 첫째, 유치원 적응과 놀이성은 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유치원 적응과 기본생활습관은 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 회귀분석 결과 놀이성은 만 3세 유아의 유치원 적응을 의미 있게 예측하는 변인으로 드러났다. 또한, 기본생활습관은 만 3세 유아의 유치원 적응을 의미 있게 예측하는 변인으로 밝혀졌다. 이러한 결과는 놀이성과 기본생활습관이 만 3세 유아의 유치원 적응에 큰 영향을 미칠 수 있는 중요한 변인임을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among three-year-old children’s kindergarten adjustment, playfulness, and basic life habit. The subjects of this study were 132 three-year-old children sampled from five kindergartens in G City, and their kindergarten adjustment, playfulness, and basic life habit were tested by their class teachers. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS WIN 18.0 through correlation analysis and regression analysis. According to the results of this study, first, kindergarten adjustment and basic life habit were in a statistically significant positive correlation with each other. Second, kindergarten adjustment and playfulness were in a statistically significant positive correlation with each other. Third, in the results of regression analysis, playfulness was found to be a significant predictor of three-year-old children’s kindergarten adjustment. Basic life habit was also found to be a significant predictor of three-year-old children’s kindergarten adjustment. These findings suggest that play characteristic and basic life habit are important variables that may affect three-year-old children’s kindergarten adjustment.
