놀이활용 자기표현훈련이 위축된 지적장애학생과 통합학급 또래들의 정서적 능력과 교우관계에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 위축된 지적장애학생과 통합학급 또래들을 대상으로 놀이활용 자기표현훈련을 실시하여 정서적 능력과 교우관계에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 연구 참여자는 인천시의 한 초등학교 2학년 학급 중 위축된 지적장애학생이 통합된 두 학급의 모든 학생들이다(지적장애학생 2명, 비장애또래학생 62명). 실험 집단에게는 주 1~2회 55분씩 12회기에 걸쳐 놀이활용 자기표현훈련을 실시하였다. 본 연구는 사전·사후 검사 통제집단설계를 사용하였으며, 두 독립표본 t 검정을 실시하여 집단간 변화정도의 차이를 살펴보았 다. 장애학생의 사전-사후 변화는 산술적 추이를 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 실험집단 통합학급 또래들의 정 서적 능력과 교우관계의 변화 정도가 통제집단의 변화 정도보다 유의하게 큰 것으로 나타났다. 각 학급에 통합된 위축된 지적장애학생의 경우, 실험집단 지적장애학생의 정서적 능력이 증가한 반면 통제집단 지적 장애학생의 정서적 능력은 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구 결과에 대한 논의와 연구의 제한 점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of Play-Based Self-Expression Training on withdrawn children with intellectual disabilities and their peers in inclusive classrooms. Second-graders in two different classrooms at an elementary school in Incheon participated in the study, with each class composed of a withdrawn child with intellectual disabilities and thirty-one children without disabilities. The experimental group children were exposed to twelve sessions of Play-Based Self-Expression Training during the morning-activity hour and the creativity-building time slot in their school curriculum. The routine session was held one to two times during a week, for fifty-five minutes each session. The results of this study showed that there was a statistically significant difference in the change of emotional competency and peer relationships between two groups. In addition, the withdrawn child in the experimental group showed a remarkable positive change in the emotional competency compared to the withdrawn child in the control group. Finally, discussions of the results and the limitations of the study were presented.
