영문 초록

In the past, nail art (nail art design on extended nails) was enjoyed only by affluent people. Recently, however, nail art has become more common for diverse purposes such as nail protection and keeping the nails clean with fascinating designs in connection with various art genres. After all, it has evolved into a genre simple, regular, and, at the same time, geometric nail art with a rational and modern look based on Mondrian's horizontal and vertical lines. For this, the intrinsic meaning of the lines and geometric composition of colors and fields were examined as theoretical background. Based on Mondrian's horizontal and vertical lines and three primary colors (red, yellow, and blue), the extensibility of Mondrian's art in beauty art has been confirmed.
