영문 초록

Korea's social insurance system needs to seek for sustainable growth by raising social equity as well as reducing system inefficiencies. We have to develop workers' compensation insurance system within the framework of sustainable social insurance. Also, regarding occupational disability risks, systematic risk management system is required for prevention, ex post loss control, and compensation and it needs to be updated and improved. This study discusses the development of workers' compensation insurance within the framework of sustainable social insurance and emphasizes the importance of systematic risk management system for occupational disability. For the development of workers' compensation insurance, specific policies are proposed including 24-Hour coverage and improved merit rating system.
