건강장애학생 교육지원 실태 및 개선방안에 관한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 건강장애 학생의 학습권 보장과 성공적인 학교생활 적응을 위한 교육지원 실태를 파악하고 학생들의 역량을 강화할 수 있는 지원방안을 마련하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적에 따라 건강장애 교육지원과 관련된 전문가 32명(학부모, 교사, 교육전문가)을 대상으로 초점집단면담을 실시하였다. 초점집단면담을 통해 건강장애 관련 전문가들의 공유된 경험과 실제적 지원요소가 논의되었으며 이를 바탕으로 4개의 범주와 14개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 건강장애 학생의 교육지원체계 강화를 위해 도출된 4개의 범주는 다음과 같다: (1) 교육전달체계 제도 및 여건 개선방안, (2) 교육의 질 향상을 위한 지원 방안, (3) 심리ㆍ정서적 지원 방안, (4) 학교복귀 및 학교적응 지원 방안의 내용들이 제시되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 건강장애 학생 교육지원과 관련된 사례를 중심으로 실천적 방안에 대한 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The Purpose of the present study was to identify the current status of educational supports for students with health impairments and suggest practical implications for enhancing their empowerment. A total of 32 parents, teachers, and professions took part in focus group interviews. During focus group interviews, their common experiences and practical supports were discussed. The interview data were analyzed, resulting in four themes and 14 sub-themes. The four themes included (1) improvements of educational systems, (2) supports for enhancing quality of education, (3) Psychological and emotional supports, and (4) supports for school reentry and school adjustments of students with health impairments. Based on these findings, practical implications for educational supports of students with health impairments were discussed.
