영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the Egyptian mind and thoughts through the realistic works written from 1919 and 1952. Based on the standards from the interesting book of "Realism in the Arabic Novels" by Muhammad Hasan Abdalla on 1991 and the valuable book of " The Egyptian novel and its main trends" by Hamdi Sakkut on 1971, the 14 works of nine Egyptian writers had been chosen and reviewed as a manifestation of Egyptian intellectual's preoccupation with their minds at the first half of last century.
