영문 초록

Korean natives who learn Arabic may learn the language more efficiently if they systematically understand and use the similarities and differences between the two languages. By doing so, they can also significantly decrease the possibilities of making mistakes in the Arabic learning process as well as reducing the probabilities of committing errors in the actual use of the language. The contrastive analysis of the syntactic characteristics of Arabic and Korean shows many differences in terms of basic word orders, conjunction usage, relative pronoun usage, modifier position, adverb position, numeral position, etc. In the case of Korean and Arabic which have completely different sentence structures, it is very difficult but important to systematically classify and analyze the different syntactic results. This study focused on the Korean-Arabic contrastive analysis will hopefully be used to the Korean-Arabic and Arabic-Korean translation education and contribute to the enhanced efficiency of Arabic education.
