사회학습요인이 청소년 비행에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

청소년 비행과 관련한 연구결과에서 청소년 비행의 원인이 가정, 학교, 가치관 등의 다양한 요인들에 있다는 것이 밝혀지고 있다. 그리고 오늘날 많은 청소년들이 컴퓨터에 의존하는 비율이 높아짐에 따라 인터넷이 청소년에 유해한 영향을 미치고 문제행동을 일으키는 원인이 되는가에 대한 상당한 연구와 논란이 거듭되고 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 사회학습요인이 청소년 비행을 야기한다는 전제 아래, 비행친구접촉과 인터넷접촉이 청소년 비행에 미치는 영향에 대해 규명하고자 하였다. 한국청소년개발원에서 수집ㆍ정리한 4차년도(2006) 한국청소년 패널조사 자료를 이용하여 통계분석을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 비행친구접촉이 많은 학생이 일반비행 및 전체비행 모두 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 일반비행을 많이 하는 학생일수록 비행친구접촉과 인터넷접촉 그리고 인터넷비행이 많은 것으로 나타났고 인터넷접촉이 많은 학생일수록 인터넷비행을 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중다회귀분석 결과, 사회학습요인인 비행친구접촉과 인터넷접촉이 모두 일반비행, 인터넷비행, 전체비행에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 비행친구접촉뿐만 아니라 인터넷접촉이 비행학습에 간접적으로 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

From research results for juvenile delinquency, it is reported that causes of juvenile delinquency come from various factors such as family, school and values. Moreover, most of juveniles are more and more depending on computers due to growing information systems and internet supply which are characteristics of modern culture. And for these reasons, many researches and arguments as to whether the Internet negatively affects internet users especially for juvenile and results in delinquency have been repeated. Under this environment, this paper assumes that social learning factors lead to juvenile delinquency and tries to identify the influence of contact with delinquent and the Internet on juvenile delinquency. Using the data from the 4th year survey by Korean Youth Panel Survey, the results are as follows: Firstly, it is found that students who have more contact with delinquent commit general delinquency and total delinquency. Secondly, the more contact with delinquent friends and the Internet students have, the more delinquency they commit. And the more contact with the Internet students have, the more Internet delinquency they commit. Thirdly, conducting multiple regression analysis, it is shown that both contact with juveniles and the Internet influence general delinquency and the Internet one. And it is found that they also influence the total delinquency. Lastly, not only contact with juveniles but also contact with the Internet influences on learning of delinquency indirectly.
