한ㆍ중 고소설 <방한림전>과 <요화전>에 나타난 여성 혼인기피담의 비교 연구

국문 초록

본고는 한ㆍ중 고소설 <방한림전>과 <요화전>에 나타난 여성 혼인기피담, 곧 방관주의 동성혼과 주요화의 대리혼을 통해 두 작품의 여성의식을 그 배경사회와 관련지어 비교해 본 것이다. <방한림전>의 주인공 방관주와 <요화전>의 주인공 주요화는 다 같이 사회적 자아실현 의지가 강한 여성영웅들이다. 그런데 그녀들이 속한 사회는 다 같이 여성에게 사회적 자아실현의 길이 막혀 있는 남성중심사회였다. 두 작품에서 주인공의 혼인 기피는 둘 다 과거급제나 입공을 통한 남성사회 진출이 계기가 되어 촉발된다. 그런가 하면 이것은 또 성적욕구와 後嗣 문제로 발전해 일련의 이야기들이 하나의 인과를 갖춘 거대담론을 형성하고 있다. 본고는 이를 '남성사회 진출', '혼인 기피', '본능적 욕구 문제', '대 잇기'의 네 단락으로 나누어, 각각의 단락에서 두 주인공이 보여주는 행동을 '남장/여장, 동성혼/대리혼, 守貞/邪淫, 입양/대리출산'으로 분석하고 이를 對比的으로 고찰하였다.

영문 초록

In this article I compared and analyzed the discourse of the feminine marriage evasion which appears to Banghallimjeon 方翰林傳 of Korea ancient novel and Yohwajeon 瑤華傳 of China ancient novel, that is the same-sex marriage of Bang Gwanju and the proxy marriage of Ju Yohwa. And I related these respectively with societies of two country(Joseon 朝鮮 and Myeong 明) where had become the background, through these, I tried to clarify the feminine consciousness. Heroine Bang Gwanju of Banghallimjeon 方翰林傳 and Ju Yohwa of Yohwajeon 瑤華傳 are feminine heros who had strong will of social self realization. But the societies where they belong were the man centered societies which block the route of social self realization to the woman. In the two works, the marriage evasion of Bang Gwanju and Ju Yohwa are triggered by entry into the masculine society through pass of the gwageo examination 科擧及第 or achievement. On the other hand their marriage evasion also develop to problems of the sexual desire and family succession, these tales of chain make the enormous discourse which equips one of the cause and effect In this article, I divided these into 4 parts: entry into masculine society, marriage evasion, problems of sexual desire, family succession etc. And in each part, I analyzed and considered the conducts of the two heroines as 'male attires 男裝/feminine dress 女裝', 'same-sex marriage 同性婚/proxy marriage 代理婚', 'chastity 守貞/lewdness 邪淫', 'adoption 入養/proxy delivery 代理出産'.
