영문 초록

Due to a status that is changing the liberalization and specialization of agricultural distribution market, the functions and role of agricultural product processing center(APC) could become even more dramatically. The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency of the APC by using the data envelopment analysis (DEA) model, and to suggest an alternative to improve APC efficiency by analyzing the correlation between the efficiency and profitability. According to the regression results, coefficients on both support expense, sie area, facilities, operation date are negative and significant in terms of APC efficiency while bot operation rate and handling quantity are positive and significant. ROA coefficients which related to the efficiency of CRS and VRS display a significant and positive relationship. When considering the analysis results, APC needs to set new strategy that has never been seen before, and must consider the business strategy based on a factor such as productivity, reliability, and profitability for increasing efficiency.
