This study explored relationships among volunteerism, innovative performance, and company competitiveness. PLS analysis is used to test the hypotheses set in this study focused on firms that inhabit Daedeok Innopolis, using a sample of 100 firms.
Findings show that volunteerism has positive effects on the innovative performance and competitiveness of company, and innovative performance impacts on competitiveness of a company. In addition, mediating effects of innovative performance between the volunteerism and competitiveness of company are verified. Some academic contributions and policy implications based on the results of this research are suggested and future research directions are proposed.
