This article addresses issues pertaining to the evaluation of documents produced by the beneficiary in conformance to the terms of the letter of credit, using a strict compliance standard.
After a historical development of strict compliance cases was presented and reviewed, this pater resented trends in the application of strict compliance standards based on international standard banking practices.
