Despite the government and the autonomous community's budget support, a number of traditional markets have been decreased from 1,660 to 1,517 in the year 2004 and 2009 each. On the other hand, a number of hypermarkets have been increased from 273 to 420 from in the year 2004 and 2010 each. Similarly, a number of SSM(Super Super Markets) have been increased from 253 to 699 in the year 2004 and 2009 each.
Commercial supremacy of traditional market is in danger of going bankrupt due to continuous depression. The reasonable assessment that can be verified by the reliable study whether the investment of government for revitalization of traditional market has got a desired effect or has maintained the status quo is needed.
Through the empirical analysis, this research is focused on understanding whether the government budget support has a decisive effect on traditional market revitalization. In addition, the purpose of this study is to make a counterproposal which can revitalize the traditional market by introducing political implications about the revitalization of the traditional market.
For those research purposes, I reviewed the theory and the prior research that was related to vitalizations of traditional market and the facilities modernization. Then, I deduced the influence factors and analysis model of market revitalization by traditional market facilities modernization.
