영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to examine the impacts of exchange rate on the Manufacturing Industrial performances during 2000-2012. The historical trends include export-import, ROS(Return on Sales), ROE(Return on Equity), ROA(Return on Asset), stock price index, stock market price total value of manufacturing industry in South Korea using yearly data. The estimated historical results supports the negative effect of exchange rate appreciation and the affirmative effect of depreciation(won/dollar, won/100yen). In contrast, trend of stock market which show the impacts of exchange rate, have little impact during 2000-2012 period depending on affluent liquidity of both world and South Korea, unconsidered variables.
