영문 초록

This study focused on helping beauty designers suggest an image to women of various occupations by conducting research on hairstyles and makeup images of career women in Busan. For the most preferred hair-style of the career women, all the vocational groups agreed to the hair styles with "the natural image" and "the modern image".According to a research on the makeup preference of career women, all the vocational groups focus on "making the skin flawless". While the study was examining an appearance preference for the career women, it was discovered that all the vocational groups favor a simple style which is regarded as "a natural style". According to the results, career women tend to change both their appearance and hair simultaneously. This proves the necessity of a follow-up study on a wider variety of appearance images and matching hairstyles which would help the career women find the right styles.
