방과후 교육 국제적 동향 고찰

국문 초록

이 연구는 방과후 교육의 국제적 동향 고찰을 통해 특수교육대상자들의 방과후 학교 활성화 방안을 알아보려는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 연구는 한국교육학술정보원(RISS4u), 한국학술정보(KISS) 등에서 검색한 논문과 자료, 방과후 학교 관련 석ㆍ박사 학위 논문 등을 연구대상으로 선정하고 수집했다. 연구자는 독일과 영국, 프랑스의 방과후 학교 운영 동향을 고찰하고, 이 3개국의 특수교육 제도와 장애학생 방과후 학교 활동도 살펴보았다. 독일과 영국, 프랑스의 방과후 학교 운영 동향은 추진 배경과 프로그램, 교육 담당자. 관련법, 성과 평가 등을 중심으로 고찰하였다. 그리하여 학생의 특성과 요구를 고려해 다양한 프로그램 마련, 인력풀제를 활용한 전문 강사 양성, 사회양극화 문제와 격차 해소, 방과후 학교 법적 근거 확보, 인성ㆍ창의성 함양에 주력, 가정ㆍ지역사회와의 연계 방안 모색, 방과후 학교 성과평가를 통한 질적 운영 노력 등을 특수교육대상자의 방과후 학교 활성화 방안으로 살펴볼 수 있었다. 마지막으로 연구 결과를 요약ㆍ정리하고, 활성화 방안을 논의했으며 연구의 제한점 및 후속연구를 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to discover new directions for activating after-school programs in special education subjects through speculating on current related international trends. For the study academic data as well as masters and doctoral theses, retrieved from RISS4u and KISS, were collected. Also, the management trends in after-school programs in Germany, England, and France, their special education institutions, and after-school activities for those with disabilities were examined. Specifically, focus was given to the background for and programs for after-school instruction, instructors, relevant laws, and the assessment of results. As a result, the following things were suggested to activate after-school programs for special education subjects: there should be development of diverse kinds of programs in consideration of the characteristics and demands of the subjects, training of specialized instructors through the tools of human resources, bridge the digital divide issues and social polarization, preparation of legal grounds for after-school programs, roughness and focused on the cultivation of creativity, families and communities and in conjunction plan and quality management through assessment of the results. Finally, the contents and results of the study were summarized and further research directions were suggested along with a presentation of the limitations of the study.
