고정문항모수 추정방법에서 고유문항의 난이도 극단 특성이 척도변환에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 공통문항 비동등집단 설계에서 고정문항모수 추정방법을 통해 공통척도로 변환검사를 추정할 때 기준검사의 고유문항의 난이도 극단 특성이 가교문항모수의 추정과 변환검사의 고유문항모수 추정에 미치는 영향을 모의실험을 통해 살펴보고 있다. 극단정도, 극단문항비율을 조건으로 데이터를 생성하여 분석한 결과 극단 정도가 -4인 문항의 비율이 10%이상일 경우 오차가 크게 나타나며, 변환검사의 특성곡선이 약 1점 이상의 과대 혹은 과소추정이 발생하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, θ척도 상에서 -3, -1, 1.5 근처에서 과대 혹은 과소추정 정도가 크게 나타나, 기초학력 미달, 기초학력, 보통학력, 우수학력 등 성취수준을 구분해주는 분할점수 상에서 오차가 크게 나타날 가능성을 보였다.

영문 초록

This study shows the effect of unique items in reference form with extreme difficulties on common item calibration and scale transformation in fixed item parameter calibration method using simulation technique. The data generation was conducted under conditions of the degree of extreme, the percentage of items with extreme difficulty. In result, the items which is showed -3 and over in the degree of extreme, or items with accuracy rates of 96% and over, affect greatly on error and stability of equating and the scale transformation. Particularly, if the percentage of items with extreme difficulty is 10% and over, TCC showed 1 and over, and it means it is rather overestimation or underestimation. And, students' proficiency levels showed large errors near -3, -1, and 1.5 in θ scale. This indicated that -3 may locate on the cut score between basic and below basic, -1 may locate between basic and proficiency, and 1.5 may locate proficiency and advanced so that some errors can be appeared in students' scores near each cut score.
