국문 초록

본 논문은 현진건의 〈타락자〉와 욱달부의 〈타락〉을 실례로 한국과 중국의 자전적 신변소설의 양상을 살펴보자고 한다. 한국과 중국의 근현대소설사에 나타난 새로운 양식의 소설-자전적 신변소설은 일본 사소설의 영향 하에 나타났기에, 본고는 우선 일본 사소설의 특성에 비추어 현진건과 욱달부의 일본 사소설 및 그 양상을 살펴보면서 이를 통해 한ㆍ중 두 나라 자전적 신변소설의 양상과 그 의미를 짚어보고자 한다. 이러한 연구는 한ㆍ중 두 나라 근현대소설사의 형성과 확립 과정을 돌아보고, 더욱이 현진건과 욱달부의 문학사적 가치와 의의를 규명하는데 도움이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the state of China and South Korea’s autobiographic novel through Hyeon, jin-geon’s 「The Fallen」 and Yu Da-fu’s 「Sink Into Depravity」. As the new form of China and South Korea’s modern novels, autobiographic novel was greatly influenced by the Japanese private novel. Therefore, this paper first discusses the concept and literary characteristics of the Japancese private novel and studies the state reference samples learned from Japanese private novel by Hyeon, jin-geon and Yu Da-Fu, and on this basis, explores specifically the state and significance of China and South Korea’s autobiographical novel through 「The Fallen」 and 「Sink Into Depravity」. As part of studying both countries’ modern novels, this paper can provide a reference for reviewing the formation and establishment of the modern novels, and at the same time, help to clarify the value and significance of Hyeon, jin-geon’s 「the Fallen」 and Yu Dafu’s 「Sink Into Depravity」 towards the history of China and South Korea’s modern literature.
