유아특수교육 교사의 직무수행능력에 대한 교사의 인식수준

국문 초록

이 연구는 유아특수교육 교사의 직무수행능력에 대한 교사의 인식수준을 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 전국 각 지역에 있는 유아특수교육 교사 총 600명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문지에 사용된 도구는 CEC(2009)의 유아특수교육 전문가 직무수행능력에 대한 목록을 사용하였고, 설문지를 배포하기 전에 설문지의 타당도를 얻기 위해 유아특수교육 관련 전문가로 구성된 델파이 위원 9명의 합의를 통해 마련된 기준을 가지고 유아특수교육 교사들의 인식수준을 조사하였다. 연구 결과, 연구에 참여한 유아특수교육교사는 직무수행능력에 대해 중요하다고 생각하고 있으나 현장에서의 수행도는 그에 미치지 못하고 있다. 유아특수교육 교사의 배경변인(연령, 성별, 경력, 학력)에 따른 직무수행능력에 대한 인식에 차이가 나타났으나, 근무기관과 소지자격증별로는 차이가 없다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 유아특수교육 교사가 직무수행능력을 효율적으로 수행할 수 있는 방안에 대한 논의를 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the various perceptions of competencies among early childhood special education teachers based on the teachers’ backgrounds. 600 early childhood special education teachers participated in the study. The survey questionnaire was developed based on the competencies lists of the early childhood special education professionals provided by the CEC (2009); nine Delphi committees consisting of early childhood special education professionals then reviewed the survey questionnaire to obtain its validity. It was found that the over all perception level of early childhood special education teachers regarding competencies was high, but the level of implementation was not high. There were significant differences in the perceptions of competencies among early childhood special education teachers based on age, gender, years of teaching experience, and the highest degree held, but there was no difference in the perception of competencies among teachers divided by working institution or teacher certificates. Effective methods for improving the competencies of early childhood special education teachers are discussed.
