영문 초록
This study was investigated to evaluate water qualities and geological characteristics of Seosan Gopoong reservoir, where algae bloomed only on the research of 2002 project, eutrophicated by blooming of a lot of algae in Chungnam. Gopoong reservoir was eutrophicated temporarily and extremely by contamination of water quality in August 2002 and 2003. The concentration of COD, T-N and T-P was a contrast to Cheongchun reservoir that an uncontaminated reservoir. And T-N, T-P at Gopoong reservoir excessed eutrophication level by Vollenweider Index classification. As a result of correlation analysis between water quality and chlorophyll-a(mg/m³) by algal blooming, correlation coefficient among water temperature(℃) and T-N, T-P ; COD and T-P ; SS
and Chlorophyll-a, Algae were analyzed as reliability value r>±0.77. The primary pollution factors of Gopoong reservoir with clean air and valley was caused by a temporary influent of the organic pollutants such as livestock wastewater and sewage of Gopoong-li Youngrakwon and the discharged water by tourist camps at Yonghyun valley and Wonpyung stream of Wawoo-li Woonsan-myun. Therefore, we wili have to minimize water pollution as laws is enforced on thelivestock wastewater and sewage drained from the villages and valleys around the reservoir.
