영문 초록

Focusing on the internationally married Japanese immigrant women who live in the rural area of Chung-nam province, this paper aims at analysing the characteristics of both rural area and japanese immigrant women on the basis of the status of their adaptation to the Korean society and psychological survey. The results are as follows ; Japanese immigrant women are usually being internationally married through religion(Tong il kyo), so they have a firm belief and purpose toward their marriage which is distinct from internationally married immigrant women from other countries. Though most of japanese immigrant women are poor or low income families, they seem to make an effort to lead a happy marriage life by having meaning and having a positive attitude. On the surface, the index of Happiness and satisfaction of them are relatively high. They also are sincerely doing their own part for happy marriage life by enduring conflicts and tortures in the course of assimilating into the Korean culture with a positive and comprehensive mind.
