국문 초록

장애아동을 위한 평생계획은 우리나라 교육과 재활 현장에서 아직 생소한 분야이다. 그러나 선진국에서는 장애인을 위한 평생계획에 대한 논의가 1970년대부터 시작되었고, 특히 미국은 1980년대 초반에 정신지체와 발달장애아동을 지도하는 원칙으로 평생계획을 채택하여, 평생계획의 필요조건으로 각 아동에 대한 사례계획의 문서화와 사례의 재검토 체계를 확립하는 것을 포함하며 가족지원프로그램의 영역으로까지 확장시켜 나가고 있는 상태이다. 이에 본 연구는 관련 문헌과 선행연구를 바탕으로 평생계획을 교육, 직업, 주거 및 재정, 결혼, 여가생활로 나누어, 화성시에 거주하고 있는 634명의 장애자녀 부모를 대상으로 평생계획의 전체적인 현황을 알아보고자 실시되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 5가지의 영역으로 나누어 그 필요성과 계획 현황으로 나누어 제시하였다. 이와 함께 평생계획 중 중요도에 대한 질문의 결과를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The concept of life plan for children with disabilities is quite new to the area of special education and rehabilitation. However, among the developed countries, the concept of life-plan was importantly discussed from 1970 for people with disabilities. Especially, the United States had chosen the concept of life-plan as one of the principles for education children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. On top of that, the concept of life-plan was expended to plans for the areas of family supports. The purpose of the current survey is investigate the status of life-plan for children with disabilities. The 634 parents’ children with disabilities who live in the area of Hwa-Sung city were included as research participants. The questionnaire were divided into 5 different areas of life-plan; education, vocation, living place & financing, wedding as well as leisure. The findings on those areas were presented. Finally, the suggestions based on the resorts were discussed.
