장애아 어머니의 가정 환경, 양육 스트레스, 양육 핵심 역량이 삶의 질에 미치는 경로 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 장애아 어머니의 사회ㆍ경제적 지위 및 장애자녀 연령 등 가정 환경 특성, 양육 스트레스 및 양육 핵심 역량이 장애아 어머니의 삶의 질에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있으며 이러한 변인들간의 경로를 알아보기 위해 구조방정식 방법을 사용한 모형 검증 연구이다. 전국의 만 3세부터 만12세 이하의 장애자녀를 양육하고 있는 장애아 어머니 262명을 대상으로 실시하였고, 선행연구를 바탕으로 연구모형과 경합모형을 가설모형으로 설정하여 모형적합도를 알아보았다. 모형 검증 결과 장애아 어머니의 가정환경 특성이 양육 스트레스와 양육 핵심 역량에 영향을 미치고, 장애아 어머니의 가정환경 특성에 영향을 받은 양육 스트레스는 양육 핵심 역량에 영향을 미치며, 양육 스트레스에 영향을 받은 양육 핵심 역량은 장애아 어머니의 삶의 질에 영향을 미친다는 연구모형이 적합한 모형(RMSEA = .089, SRMR = 060, CFI = .908)으로 확인되었다. 이 연구는 장애아 어머니의 가정환경과 양육 스트레스, 양육 스트레스와 삶의 질, 양육 스트레스와 양육 핵심 역량 및 양육 핵심 역량과 삶의 질 등의 관계를 보다 간명하고 과학적 수치를 통해 이해할 수 있는 모형을 제시했다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The propose of this study is to analyze the path about influence of mothers’ home environment, such as the child age with disabilities and socio-economic status, parenting stress and parenting core competency on the life quality of mothers of children with disabilities, using the structural equation model. In this study, research model and competing model is suggested, based on related researches about parenting variables. Research model is that mother’s socio-economic status and her child ages affects parenting stress and parenting core competency, each variables affecting her quality of life, parenting stress affecting parenting core competency. Competing model is same as research model without parenting stress affecting parenting core competency. Data were collected from 262 mothers raising child with disabilities from 3 years old to 12 years old at nation-wide level. The results are follows: First, a goodness of fit of research model(RMSEA = .089, SRMR = 060, CFI = .908) was evaluated as higher than that of competing model. Second, mother’s quality of life was not directly affected by her home environment variables, socio-economic status and her child age, but indirectly. Third, mother’s parenting core competency was significant variable between parenting stress and quality of life. Finally, it was discussed about future research directions of mother’s home environment variables, parenting stress, parenting core competency, and quality of life.
