국문 초록

자폐 범주성 장애아동에 대한 체계적인 교육을 통한 교육성과 증진의 중요성이 강조되면서 종합 프로그램(comprehensive program)의 개발 및 실행에 대한 관심은 증대되고 있으나 여전히 국내 자폐 범주성 장애아동 교육은 교사의 역량에 따른 교수영역별 전략 및 중재 제공에 머물고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 자폐 범주성 장애교육 전문가 5인에 대한 심층면담을 통해 전문가들이 인식하는 국내 자폐범주성 장애교육의 현실을 알아보고 종합 프로그램의 개발 및 실행을 위한 전반적인 방안을 탐색하고자 하였다. 심층면담을 통해 수집된 자료는 질적 분석을 통해 다음과 같이 4가지 주제가 도출되었다: (1) 국내 자폐 범주성 장애 교육여건 및 현황에 대한 인식, (2) 종합 프로그램의 개발 및 실행에 대한 인식, (3) 통합환경의 중요성 및 어려움, (4) 성공적인 자폐 범주성 장애교육에 대한 제언. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 국내 자폐 범주성 장애 교육현장에서 체계적인 지원체계가 마련되기 위한 방안이 논의되었다.

영문 초록

Comprehensive programs for students with autism spectrum disorders(ASD) has been receiving much attention due to the importance of educational outcomes through systematic approaches as well as effective interventions. However, overall educational approaches for students with ASD in Korea have been still focused on implementing separate interventions or strategies based upon each educator’s individual capability. As a result, providing systematic support for those students appropriately in public education settings becomes more critical in order to meet students’ needs. In the study, in-depth interviews with five professionals in the field of ASD were conducted to review current educational situation in Korea and to identify essential factors of ASD comprehensive programs. Through the interview, four main themes were emerged as follows: (a) perceptions on current educational situations and difficulties, (b) perceptions on the developing and implementing comprehensive programs in Korea, (c) issues in inclusion, and (d) suggestions for successful education for students with ASD. Several considerations to support students with ASD were also discussed.
