영문 초록

Yongbieocheonga is a work that praise achievements of sixth preceding kings who established Joseon Dynasty and teach the next kings. It limits discussions on the process of production and author compared to the importance of the work. In particular, the author was recorded as Je Kweon, In-ji Jeong, and Ji An in government compilation so it was not a subject of discussion. However, among the intelligent stratum of the society of Joseon Dynasty, the writer is assumed to be Unjeong Sook-beon Lee, but it was not noticed much. This study was written in order to prove the legitimacy of the argument on Yongbieocheonga of Unjeong volume which written by Sook-beon Lee and which was draft of Yongbieocheonga of government volume, so he was original author. The result of this study is as followings; First, it was found that it was publically accepted that Yongbieocheonga was written by Sook-beon Lee through the whole period of Joseon Dynasty in not only unofficial historical materials and the remarks and records of Seok-joo Kim, Si-yeol Song, Jong-hwi Lee, and Lee-soon Lee in the early and middle Joseon Dynasty. Second, as it is shown in Si-yeol Song’s letter, Confucian scholars did not show positive response to the fact that Unjeong participated in producing Yongbieocheonga. The records in .Sejongsilrok. also were in the same perception and context so it can be supposed that the relation between Yongbieocheonga and Unjeong was intensionally excluded. Third, in the recordings of April, 1445 in the 27 years of King Sejong’s reign, the records that ten books of Yongbieocheonga were dedicated king and the king commended to publish it were recorded wrongly by the scribe in the process of compiling 『Sejongsilrok』 Having synthesized several situations, it is assumed that Je Kweon dedicated Yongbieocheonga to King Sejong was not only the 〈Yongbisi〉 but Korean lyrics with an annotated edition at minimum as Yongbieocheonga of Unjeong volume. Then, it will be more reasonable to guess that there may be a work done to supplement until the remarks by Hang Choi in February under the 29 years of King Sejong. With the conclusion, the author wishes that there will be re-evaluation on its value as a material as its position is established in the history of Korean literature along with the change of perception that the original author of Yongbieocheonga is Sook-beon Lee.
