영문 초록

This paper tries to set up the chronology through the characteristics of stratigraphy of the remainings located on fluvial deposits of Early Paleolithic Site that is spread on Namhan-River Basin. The result shows that the fuluvial terrace gravel of Suyanggae Loc.ⅠSite, Myungo-ri Site and Byungsan-ri Site is the upper level terrace and the fuluvial terrace gravel of Yeonyang-ri Site is the middle terrace. The fuluvial terrace gravel of Suyanggae Loc.Ⅲ Site is the middle terrace or the lower terrace. The chronology of cultural layer that is confirmed in upper paleosol layer of the terrace deposits of Early Paleolithic Site on Namhan-River Basin has been set up based on the period of Soil-wedge. There have been disputes on it. The recently investigated absolute age of Yeonyang-ri could be a standard of the chronology. The absolute age of this remianings is 63±4, 67±3, 70±7, 64±7kyrs (OSL). We can compare the chronologies between the remaining. Especially it is related to Byungsan-ri Cultural Layer 3. It compared the chronology of layers with Stone Industry. It found that the shape changed from Choppers-Chopping tools to Scraper. It is believed that this reflects the general phenomenon being shown in the development of Paleolithic.
